One of the biggest meetings in the world of flat racing we see a total of 8 Group 1 races take place at Longchamp this weekend. We preview all premier races across both days. SATURDAY
12:58 LONGCHAMP
It's safe to say that trainer Aidan O'Brien has stronger chances of claiming a winner here at Longchamp but it'd be crazy to ignore his runner Queenstown in what is the first Group 1 of the meeting. A strong finishing third in the Irish Cesarewitch it indicated he'd relish this extra distance and looks to hold a clear each-way chance.
QUEENSTOWN (E/W)
16:00 LONGCHAMP
Santorini Star and Consent fought a close battle when filling the top two spots at Doncaster. With the weight difference closer this time around it's hard to see Consent reversing that form and Santorini Star should make the frame.
Latakia is one of the home nations best chances of a Group 1 success here at Longchamp and with three wins from her last four starts she'll be hard to topple but, at the current odds, Santorini Star looks a more attractive betting prospect.
SANTORINI STAR (E/W)
SUNDAY
12:40 LONGCHAMP
The unbeaten duo of Diamond Necklace and Green Spirit look head and shoulders above the rest and although Ozone is also yet to taste defeat her form doesn't look as strong.
It's difficult to split the two at the head of the market so we're going to side with the reverse forecast in the hope they both fill the top two places.
DIAMOND NECKLACE & GREEN SPIRIT (REV F-CAST)
13:15 LONGCHAMP
A tough race to call so we're hunting an each-way option who could outrun their odds. Campacite has won his last two starts, and although he'll need to step up now in a higher in class has been convincing in his victories and should relish the softer ground.
CAMPACITE (E/W)
13:50 LONGCHAMP
Globe trotting Afsoora has produced some fantastic victories this season but his form is up and down like a yoyo and he's hard to catch right so couldn't be backed with confidence.
With eighteen runners set to lineup we've picked out two foreign raiders who've raced here in France before and has proven capable of handling the softer ground. She's Quality and Mgheera are currently double figure odds and look capable of going well for each-way punters.
SHE'S QUALITY (E/W)
MGHEERA (E/W)
15:05 LONGCHAMP
In one of the most prestigious races in world horse racing it's probably naive to feel so confident but it's hard to look anywhere but Ballydoyle's Minnie Hauk. Unbeaten since winning her maiden last year and has produced a string of impressive victories this term. The yard knows what it takes to claim this race and it's hard to see anything but another victory for connections.
If you were forced to look for an each-way option then the Japan trained Byzantine Dream could go well but it's the favourite that cannot be ignored.
MINNIE HAUK (WIN)
15:50 LONGCHAMP
A race where it looks hard to be overly confident with any selection but Wemightakedlongway could be worth a small bet. A winner on soft ground and a close second most recently. Will handle the conditions and the form of her last start looks strong.
WEMIGHTAKEDLONGWAY (E/W)
16:25 LONGCHAMP
Since finishing second best at Royal Ascot More Thunder has gone from strength to strength and finally gets his shot at Group 1 level. Although Sajir looks a lively rival that's the only runner that William Haggas' charge should worry about and if he's capable of beating that horse he should find his head in front.
MORE THUNDER (WIN)
