Who we are:
Racing Daily started out as a simple blog on 4 May 2012, when founder and Managing Director Rory K Paddock published his first piece: a preview of the 2012 2000 Guineas from Newmarket. 

From those early beginnings we steadily grew — expanding our editorial team, forging partnerships with established media outlets, and evolving into a full-service racing content hub. In early 2025, we undertook a comprehensive rebrand, moving from our previous name (Picks From The Paddock) to the fresh identity of Racing Daily, reflecting our ambition to serve the whole racing community. 

Our mission:
We believe racing is more than just a sport — it’s history, excitement, strategy, and community. Our mission is to provide racing fans, punters, enthusiasts and professionals with timely, insightful and engaging content that informs, entertains and empowers. But maintain our stance that our content is produced by racing fans for racing fans.

We deliver:

Whether you’re following the big festivals or tracking form on a quiet weekday card, we aim to be your trusted companion.

Our story & evolution:
From the blog-by-Rory to a recognised content provider, our journey includes:

• Launch as a blog in May 2012 covering the 2000 Guineas.

• Gaining advertising support which enabled a shift from hobby-blog to professional editorial platform.

• Producing daily written content for print outlets — beginning with the Lancashire Evening Post in July 2014.

• Serving over 20 regional, national and international media outlets.

• Launching a dedicated mobile app in March 2023 under our earlier brand.

• Rebranding to Racing Daily in early 2025 to reflect our ambition and broadened scope.
