Arabian King was on a roll last winter and looked a horse to follow but since his return he has yet to discover that form and is best left alone for the time being.
Ability to handle this fibresand surface is a huge positive and Mr Carbonater has a decent record here yet he looks set for minor placings now up against the well handicapped Mukha Magic.
This represents a drop in grade for the Gay Kellaway trained five year old and with his jockey claiming five pounds he looks an even more attractive proposition. With a course and distance win to his name, he’s a confident selection
MUKHA MAGIC (WIN)
18:15 Southwell
A competitive looking staying event where Indigo Times looks on the upgrade, but has to prove himself on this surface.
Course and distance winners Artistic Streak who is in form and Tynecastle Park should be on the scene and can’t be dismissed readily however fellow course victor Rafiot absolutely dotted up on his first go here at Southwell. He has a bit further to go but was certainly not stopping last time and galloped right through the line. Despite a rise in the weights he is taken to follow up.
RAFIOT (WIN)
