TV TIPS (FRIDAY)

Cheltenham's November Meeting gets underway and ITV are showing four live races this Friday, we preview them all right here. 13:45 CHELTENHAM

Mister Coffey has gone mightily close on numerous occasions here at 'Jumps HQ' and deserves to finally get rid of his Cheltenham hex. In a race like this, despite a 247-day absence he's more than capable. Likely to go close once again and looks the obvious each way option.

Former course winner Eldorado Allen is another who deserves another trip to the winners' enclosure and if anywhere near his best, would demolish a field of this nature, but he's hard to catch right now in the latter stages of his career.

The biggest threat looks to be Gunsight Ridge, who hails from a yard in form and could cause problems for the selection.

At bigger odds, Dreal Deal has the ability to outrun their price with Fugitif best of the rest.

MISTER COFFEY (E/W)

14:20 CHELTENHAM

This looks to be a hard-fought contest where last time out victors Leave Of Absence and Wade Out seem the most likely to fight out the finish with the latter, who's carrying the least weight, the one we're siding with. Should improve for their recent success, and with trainer Olly Murphy in solid form,, he ticks plenty of boxes.

WADE OUT (WIN)

14:55 CHELTENHAM

Likely to provide clues to the Champion Chase here in March with current race favourite Jonbon the one they all have to beat. The multiple Grade 1 winner has proven himself time and time again at the highest level and if he's fit for his seasonal reappearance should have enough in the locker to remain a major player in this division.

Fellow course and distance winner and arguably the 'young pretender' is Dan Skelton's L'Eau Du Sud who deserves a shot at this level but will need to have shown improvement over the summer to give Jonbon a major challenge.

It'd be great to see Edwardstone back to near his best, but at the age of 11 he seems to have gone at the game and left some of his talent behind.

If there were 8 runners and therefore three places on offer, Libberty Hunter could be an attractive option, especially if the rain continues to fall. Likely to stay on when others are fading and seems the one to follow Jonbon home.

JONBON (WIN)

15:30 CHELTENHAM

Heads Up was last seen at this venue, filling the runners-up spot in the Champion Bumper. The form of that race seems solid with the third subsequently claiming victory on their hurdling debut as did this John McConnell trained five-year-old. This seems a tougher test, but one he can relish as he looks to demonstrate he's a contender over obstacles and not just in the NHF sphere.

Promising grey No Drama This End ran a respectable race in the Champion Bumper and looks the type to fare better over obstacles. Potentially more likely to make a better chaser in time, but could prove talented nonetheless.

For punters hunting for one at a big price, Moneygarrow represents a top yard and should strip fitter for their recent effort.

HEADS UP (WIN)
