TV TIPS (SUNDAY)

Live action from Goodwood, Beverley and Yarmouth hit the ITV TV screens this Sunday and Kieran McHugh previews every race.

13:50 GOODWOOD

Mister Winton is a major contender off the back of his Newmarket success. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him win. Linwood has been improving and was third at Glorious Goodwood. He’s not out of the picture. The vote goes for Organ. He’s been progressing nicely and he’s back down to a mile. Newbury seemed too bad to be true so it might be worth siding with Martyn Meade’s gelding again.

ORGAN (WIN)

14:05 BEVERLEY

Light Speed normally saves his best for Chester, but he was pretty good last time out, he can’t be discounted. Masfting is back down in trip, for the first time since winning over this distance. With connections going well, he’s in the calculations. The nod goes to Time Tells All, who has won over course and distance twice this year. On this ground as well. He’ll be hard to beat.

TIME TELLS ALL (WIN)

14:40 BEVERLEY

Spirit Of Applause arrives here on a good mark and is a course and distance winner. However, the outside draw could thwart him. Smart Vision ran well at Pontefract and remains on that mark. He’s well drawn, and he has a good chance. The vote goes for Emeralds Pride. She won this race last year and has won four times over course and distance. She does have a penalty to carry but she arrives in good form. She’s the one to beat.

EMERALDS PRIDE (WIN)

14:25 GOODWOOD

Precise represents the mighty Ballydoyle connections and she could be pretty good. Moon Target looks a smart filly, winning both her races by large margins. Sir Mark Prescott could have another good one. Aylin should be two from two and was an easy winner here in July. Karl Burke goes well with his two-year-old’s. She’s a likely sort.

AYLIN (WIN)

15:00 GOODWOOD

You can never write off Get It. He won the Stewards’ Cup last year and the Wokingham this year. He’s on a hefty mark but discount him at your peril. Flash Harry is pretty unexposed and will enjoy the drop back to six furlongs. He might be left watched, however. The nod goes to Jakajaro. He was a good third in the Stewards’ Cup here and he can kick on for that.

JAKAJARO (WIN)

15:35 GOODWOOD

Jonquil was close to winning the French 2000 Guineas, but he’s been fairly poor since then. He looks opposable. Ice Max won this last year and although he’s been ‘in and out’ he could fare well now back here. Saqqara Sands dead-heated in a Group Three here and has never been out of the top two. This improving fully could impress yet again.

SAQQARA SANDS (WIN)
