The Racing League returns at Yarmouth this evening and with every race shown live on ITV Alan Morris and Rory Paddock preview all the action. 17:40 YARMOUTH
An open and competitive handicap to start proceedings with the added complication of how much the soft going at Yarmouth will dry out by race time but with little wind or hot sun forecast it may not dry out as quickly as usual here.
Soft ground would suit Baltic who gets further and is running into form. Minhad could quickly bounce back from a group race after previously beating subsequent duel winner Pole Star twice and looking reasonably handicapped as a result. The ground is an unknown for many of these but for the prize money on offer it’s worth them trying. This will be a different test for Neoma with a big field and a wide draw if attempting to front-run again. Secret Beach is related to soft-ground winners and went in to many notebooks with a comfortable win last time, along with Minhad they are my two against the field.

Handicap debutant Express Train looks a serious threat after a dominant win at Leicester last time out. With a low weight and a weight for age allowance he should make the frame.
It's a fellow three-year-old that gets the vote with Ollie Sangster's Tuco Salamanca. He went well at York and unfortunately met traffic to stop his momentum. He's been competing at Class 2 level and drops down to this grade here. Despite a sizable weight burden, he looks like the one to beat.
A trio of outsiders could be worth a bet for punters looking for value with Musical Touch, Rebel Path, and Far Above Dream capable of outrunning their odds.

A step up to one mile should see further improvement from Panelli, who has a great each-way chance.
Last time out winner Arctic Dawn aims to make it back-to-back victories and an encouraging fourth at York two starts back looks good enough to win a race of this nature.
Mostawaa and Zarathos have been ultra-consistent and can sneak into the money once again.

Of all the races on the card, this looks the most competitive.
Leadman won well last time out and should go close to making it back-to-back victories, but this looks a tougher test than the one he won. Should be there or thereabouts and likely to make the frame.
Former course winners Rajindri and Tolstoy will appreciate a return to this venue and can show improved form.
Top-weight Dosman returned from a 281-day break to go close in a top handicap at Newcastle. Now making their stable debut for Jamie Osborne, if that springs further improvement, he'll be hard to surpass.

Solar Aclaim was a convincing winner at Chester last time out and should be there or thereabouts once again, but an 8lb rise in weight could make this a tough test. Should find one or two too good.
Nazron looks overpriced and at the age of four might have room for further improvement. Capable of doing better than the bookies suggest.
Existent hasn't finished outside of the top three in his last six starts and although he's not won in over three years he now sits on a very attractive mark.
King Of Bears can be forgiven his run at Royal Ascot, but he wasn't miles behind when 14th of 24 at the royal meeting. Before that, his run at Windsor showed signs of promise and now in lesser company can spring a shock.

Who’s Glen was short in the market for the Northumberland Plate from a wide draw and will be popular again with a heavy ground win in the bank. Miller Spirit is also expected to step up on his previous form over more suitable ground. Pique and King’s Scholar will also like the conditions and the latter can be classed as unfortunate in his Hamilton run last time, still looking to have handicapping leeway after being hampered and needing a faster pace. Tryfan and Pole Star look progressive but are unproven on the ground in another open competition.

Wave Rider is a warm order here after a comfortable maiden win last time that hasn’t worked out yet, but the stable is in form and the only 3yo in the race has a soft ground placing here. There are some reliable yardsticks in opposition but none look ahead of the handicapper. Brasil Power seemed to improve for the step up to 10f last time and I Still Have Faith looks to be returning to form and they look each-way value here.
