French Master returned to action with an encouraging second at Newmarket. The level of opposition that day looks stronger than the field he has to contend with here and looks set to go one better this time around.

Match Play has produced three encouraging efforts so far this turf season and demonstrated that a big run might not be far away. Weighted way below his last winning mark he's taken o finish ahead of the last time out winner Irish Dancer.

A drop in grade and now residing off a decent mark is enough to suggest a big run from former course and distance winner Princess Niyla.

Dandy's Angel also has plenty in their favour and seems the main danger.

Of course when hunting for a winner looking for value can play a part however sometimes you see a race where the most obvious horse makes the most sense. Ralph Beckett's Stanhope Garden has done very little wrong in three career starts and as long as he's fit for his seasonal reappearance should have more than enough to put his two rivals in their place.
