Numbers brings strong form from Australia, where he was a multiple winner and placed in Group company. Since arriving in Hong Kong, he’s shown promise, finishing third on debut before winning well over a longer distance LTO. Although he carries more weight, he starts from the bottom of the handicap still looks well treated. Likely to go forward in a race lacking pace, he could control things from the front and make full use of his light weight. Main danger looks to be Speed Dragon, who comes here after a recent Group 3 success and shouldn’t be underestimated if given a pace to aim at.

Flow Water Flow continues to progress nicely after going close on several occasions, he finally got his head in front over a mile last time. He now steps up in grade and takes a small weight rise, but still looks well handicapped compared to previous runs. With further improvement expected over this trip, he has strong claims of following up. The main threat appears to be Dazzling Fit, who has solid form but hasn’t had much luck recently and may benefit from the increase in distance
