In the race before the Derby one of Hong Kong’s rising stars Hot Delight will face his toughest test yet, he travels strongly into his races yet has a potent turn of foot. Cool Boy could well be his biggest threat, he comes here off the back of 3 convincing wins, if either of these two win convincingly they will be well above average. Mickley always runs a big race but finds it hard to win, I will stick with the very promising Hot Delight

Having previewed the previous two 3yo Triple Crown races it will be of no surprise I am following the same horse again. Invincible Ibis went off favourite for the Classic Mile, he had a poor trip that day finishing a staying on 6th. LTO in the Classic Cup he showed up much better staying on into 2nd behind the reopposing Stormy Grove. Both horses will appreciate this extra distance it will likely come down to luck in running once again. Little Paradise and Numbers are currently fighting it out at the top of the market but they both have double digit draws to contend with.
