SUNDAY SELECTIONS

15:30 NOTTINGHAM

Charlie Boyo was unlucky not to justify favouritism on his debut and he’s best placed to come on for that. However, if he hasn’t learnt his lesson, he could be vulnerable. Capitalization was quite an expensive purchase and connections warrant interest; he might be the biggest threat. An interesting entrant is Ambishio. He is related to multiple Group winners at this distance, including at Group One level. He might well outrun his odds on his debut.

AMBISHIO (E/W)

16:35 FAKENHAM

Hurricane Bay won well at Huntington and had excuses last time out. The tongue-tie could help but he has to shoulder a massive weight compared his rivals. Trapista is in easier company and today might be a going day but you’d be worried about the consistency. Abingworth probably should have won last time but unseated at the last. He’s changed stables since and champion jockey, Sean Bowen, is a plus. He’ll be hard to beat.
