Kieran McHugh previews the best of Sunday’s action as he picks out his best bets of the day.
15:52-CHESTER
An interesting race. Toyotomi has shaped better over sprint distances and wasn’t disgraced at Deauville. He could be best watched on his British debut. Kassaya won on her seasonal reappearence and that form hasn’t worked out too badly, she could improve for that. Celandine won the Lowther last year and that form has worked out well. She possibly needed the run on her comeback and connections opted to avoid the heavy ground at Goodwood for this race, which is a good sign.
CELADINE (WIN)
16:12- YARMOUTH
Arundel has relished the step up to a mile and two furlongs, in handicaps, never failing to be out of the first two. It’s no surprise that Billy Loughnane’s mount is favoured. Glitter Code is a nice sort who is normally dependable. Maybe he didn’t get the best of passages at Windsor and despite him never visiting the winner's enclosure, he can’t be discounted. Alive Again looks like he’s been crying out for a longer trip and he’s well related. Connections are going well, and he could threaten Arundel.
