Kieran McHugh heads to Punchestown and Musselburgh for his best bets for Sunday.
14:30 PUNCHESTOWN
An interesting race. The Lovely Man looks a big threat for Gavin Cromwell and probably justifies his favouritism. Uncle Pat has form behind some smart horses and unseated early at Leopardstown. Paul Townend takes the ride today and with a clean round, he could come good. Prends Garde A Toi should also be there or thereabouts. He fell early doors two weeks ago but baring a no-show at Naas, he’s been pretty consistent.
UNCLE PAT (E/W)
PRENDS GARDE A TOI (E/W)
16:20 MUSSELBURGH
Special Rate was third here on his last start and is a consistent sort. You would be concerned at the heavy weight he has to carry. Bridge Court has to show more today but is capable of it. Maybe last time was too much of a step, this should be easier. The vote goes to Jus De Citron. Derham is going well and his charge was a tad unlucky last time. He’s acts on the ground and distance and is the one to beat.
JUS DE CITRON (WIN)
