Kieran McHugh previews two races this Sunday as he pinpoints a couple of runners he’s backing.
14:50 CARLISLE
Hilcrest is a case of ‘what could have been’ and he nearly got his head back in front last time out. He keeps the visor on, but my heart would rule my head more. Tommy’s Oscar was good at Musselburgh, last time out, but this is his first time over three miles in six years. The vote goes to Credo. Despite recent form, he won this race last year and arrives three pounds lower.

16:02 NAAS
The Leinster National is always a tough race but Goraibhmaithagat and Mark Walsh might have it sawn up. High Class Hero did not really feature in the Thyestes off top weight, but Anna McGuinnness’ claim negates that today. Could be prove a Grand National clue? Sa Majeste had some good form from the Mim Muir last year and luck has not fallen his way since. There is a big run in him somewhere.
