Kieran McHugh previews the best of Sunday's action. 14:30 LEOPARDSTOWN
City of Memphis made a winning return after a long layoff, following her fifth placed finish behind Lake Victoria. She arrives here as the one to beat. Princess Child is a Group race winner and put in a good performance last time, carrying a large weight. She is one to keep an eye on. As is her stablemate, Quebec. She makes the switch from Germany, where her best form came from over a mile. That form reads pretty well and if she can find her feet, she could be one to keep an eye on over here.
QUEBEC (E/W)
15:40 LEOPARDSTOWN
Shaihaan was a way behind Hawk Mountain in a Group Two last year but made a winning return in a maiden over this distance. The form from that race has worked out well but perhaps more is needed in this calibre. Endorsement nearly made all in the Ballysax and was not beaten far. A similar performance puts him in with a big chance. It would be callous to write-off Pierre Bonnard after his no-show in the Ballysax. He is much better than that and he can come on for that race. He is still the one to beat.
PIERRE BONNARD (WIN)
