SUNDAY SELECTIONS

Kieran McHugh heads over to Ireland with a competitive looking card from Navan where he gives his best bets of the day this Sunday. 15:27 NAVAN

A competitive Listed race. Lemsairbat has found a new lease of life since joining Joseph O’Brien’s stable and his second last time out was pretty good. He is in the mix. Isaac Newton has been a tad disappointing but did not stay last time, it will be interesting to see how he gets on now dropped in trip. Hotazhell has proven Group One form and if not rusty (as this is his first race since the Arc last year) then he will be hard to beat.

HOTAZHELL (WIN)

LEMSAIRBAT (E/W)

16:02 NAVAN

Drop Dead Gorgeous was poor last time out and reverts back to a mile today. Her form prior to that was not too bad but she has points to prove. Fingerpaint was very disappointing when last seen in October and she will not want any further rain. She is entitled to have matured since, but she is best left watched. As such, the vote goes for La Fogata. Her second in the Oaks Trial was pretty good and she will not be deterred by the ground. Donnacha O’Brien is in good form also and she ticks the most boxes.

LA FOGATA (WIN)
