SUNDAY SELECTIONS

Kieran McHugh pinpoints his best bets for Sunday across different meetings. 16:45 PONTEFRACT

Sing The Blues has won both of her starts as a three-year-old with her latest success coming at Glorious Goodwood. She is improving with every run, but she must post a clear career best to win today. Royal Fixation heads the ratings after a stellar June line campaign, winning the Lowther Stakes and placing in the Group One Cheveley Park Stakes. It has not really clicked this season, and she has a bit to find with the selection. America Queen was ahead of Riyal Fixation at York, last time out, when they faced the older horses. Her form this year has been pretty good, and she should take victory today.

AMERICA QUEEN (WIN)

16:55 CURRAGH

Armour Supreme is an interesting contender and Rossa Ryan travels over for the sole ride. She won on debut and was a tad unlucky at York afterwards, going down by a neck. She was well beaten in the Queen Mary but could be interesting back at this level. Paddy Twomey is going well and Concorde Landed was very impressive on debut. He failed to fire at this level at Naas, which would be a concern today, but it will be interesting to see how he fares. The vote goes for Brazilian Diva. He has fared better since dropping down to five furlongs and his form at Naas behind Carry The Flag makes for good viewing. He could have gone closer behind Nunthorpe hope Pershaada at Goodwood and on the form, he has enough to strike at this level.
