TODAY'S TIPS (FRIDAY)
Pundit Dean Kilbryde heads to Ayr and Newbury for his best bets this Friday. 15:05 AYR
Beautiful Diamond boasts an exemplary record at Ayr, winning three from four, all at Listed level, including this race last year. She hasn’t won yet this season but has made the frame in three from four including a Group 2 race on penultimate run and looks primed for another big effort today.
Luna A Inbhir Nis finished four lengths behind Beautiful Diamond in this race last season and has held her form well so far this season, third in a Listed race in May and an excellent second in the Group 3 Coral Charge when last seen. She could prove the biggest danger.
Lady Youmzain has also made the frame in a couple of Listed races in recent months and is yet to finish outside the top three in all four career runs. She’s likely got more to give and looks a big each way player at early odds.

Charlie Appleby has really come alive in recent weeks and is operating at a near 50% winning strike rate. His runner Catullus should benefit from the drop down in class and step back in trip so should go well, however isn’t bomb-proof and is 0-4 with William Buick in the saddle.
Spy Chief was only a neck from victory when beaten by subsequent dual Group 1 winner Almeraq at Salisbury in May but then disappointed in the Wokingham Stakes last time out. He’s had a decent break since and is partnered with Ryan Moore on return, however has also had two runs over track and trip without success so on balance isn’t one for maximum confidence.
Elarak has been consistent without winning all season and looks likely to find one too good again, however at an each way price All Moonshine looks worthy of consideration. She’s got a bit to find on ratings but arrives here having won four from six including a convincing course and distance victory when last seen and gets weight from all but one rival.
