Matt Polley pinpoints two runners this Monday not to miss as he finds tips for Carlisle and Windsor. 15:20 CARLISLE
An interesting staying handicap, with mostly exposed types who are in decent form.
It will certainly be a test of stamina with Circuit Breaker likely to take them along.
Torcello was an emphatic winner last time out on his favoured deep ground, and So Alex, who is arguably still open to improvement, should go well.
A chance is taken with the lightly weighted Stand Strong who is yet to win on turf, but could be really suited to the way this is likely to be run.
STAND STRONG (E/W)
19:00 WINDSOR
A competitive sprint handicap, and potentially some hard luck stories as can be the case at this course.
Change Sings is well drawn to attack, and he could lead them a long way.
Uncle Don ran well here last time, however, there’s a feeling there’s certainly more to come from Durham Castle.
He’s more than hinted a being better than a handicapper, and if he gets the splits here, he’ll surely be difficult to beat.
