TODAY'S TIPS (WEDNESDAY)

Former jockey Liam Hall previews three races from three different meetings and pinpoints his best bets this Wednesday. 14:48 NOTTINGHAM

True Charm was second on debut, there was enough in that performance to suggest a step forward would be probable so is the one that market will probably follow, that said Menhaal was backed like defeat was out of the question on debut but was a very disappointing seventh, sure to take a huge step forward from that and could be a huge danger. The Ginger Kid was sent off joint favourite for a class 2 event at Yorks Dante meeting, finished well beaten off but did travel well for a long way. Likely to be much more street wise now and could be one to follow again.

THE GINGER KID (E/W) 17:30 NEWTON ABBOTT

Mattys Mate is likely to be all the rage for this bumper, bred to be sharp so is probably the likely favourite. An each way angle to the race could be Megatothemax, there's enough quality in the pedigree to say this filly could better her expected SP, owned by the trainer so is likely to know it's job first time up.

MEGATOTHEMAX (E/W)

17:40 CURRAGH

An intriguing maiden where Bull Shark brings the experience as has finished third three times in a row, there looks potentially classy newcomers here so will need to improve. To Infinity is bred to be very sharp, surprising he hasn't been out earlier in the season so may be best watched first time up over this trip. The two Aiden O Brien runners here both are stoutly bred, Ryan Moore rides the Frankel Colt out of an Oaks second so will improve once going up in trip, the yards horses often improve vastly from their first run to their second so caution is advised. That said the pedigree of Aix La Chapelle is impossible not to get excited about. Dam was a Group 1 winner up to a mile, his half brother was a Group 1 winner, full brother was a Group 2 winner. Could be very classy and one for the tracker.
