TODAY'S TIPS (WEDNESDAY)

Liam Hall previews action from Thirsk and Fairyhouse this Wednesday as he pinpoints runners not to ignore. 13:08 THIRSK

On paper this looks a match race between Possessive and Kodiak Breeze. Kodiak Breeze bumped into an impressive winner at Thirsk on debut called Arapho Gold (runs 13:38 Thirsk), made amends for that defeat when winning nicely at Redcar but the awkward head carriage shown was a concern if he was to get into a fight which Possesive might be able to force that but he also flashed his tail which is a concern, a smart winner at York on debut before finding the undulations and soft ground against him at Epsom last time, that said I'm leaning towards Kodiak Breeze on the basis I think there was more improvement to come from him.

KODIAK BREEZE (WIN)

13.38 THIRSK

This should be as simple as if Arapho Gold behaves In the stalls this time, then he wins. The form he showed on debut is strong and the turn of foot was mighty impressive, non runner at Beverley due to rearing at the start which is the biggest concern. Scarlett Dynasty is bred to have a future and might be one to keep note of further down the line but could run into the frame here for each way backers.

ARAPHO GOLD (WIN)

18:45 FAIRYHOUSE

A competitive handicap where Hasita will be very well supported, third the last twice in Maidens but continues to look an awkward ride, looks a fair mark to start off from. Rodevee got off the mark last time out when winning comfortably but a 12lb ride looks harsh and may struggle again. Caitouna has been looking like this trip may suit, they've called upon the services of Colin Keane and could run well at a price.
