TODAYS TIPS (FRIDAY)

Liam Hall pinpoints four races where he hopes to bash the bookies this Friday.

12:05 MUSSELBURGH

Arctic Voyage made a pleasing debut over hurdles with signs of greeness, likely to be much sharper this time and should be dangerous. Junkyard Dog showed good form over hurdles in Ireland but has struggled since coming to Britain, could step forward. French Diablo holds an impressive jumping pedigree and if he knows his job on debut he could be classy and is worth the chance.

FRENCH DIABLO (EW)

12:25 DONCASTER

The best hurdling form in the race is held by Aqua Bleu who was second on hurdling debut but Laysoft was very impressive in a 3yr old bumper after finishing a green fifth on debut. If Laysoft can jump with fluency she should be too good. The Grayster is worth a second look being out of jumping mare but would need to be ready for this to threaten the other two.

LAYSOFT (WIN)

13:15 NEWBURY

Kate O Riley ticks alot of boxes after finishing third at Cheltenham last time, drops in grade and is a likely contender. Tralee Girl was third in a similair contest on debut, likely to improve plenty for a stable in flying form, each way chance. Highland Crystal was very impressive on debut when bolting up at Punchestown when a horse behind who fell when comfortably held has since finished second in a similair event, he looks high quality. Dam is a half sister to the high class Envoi Allen.

HIGHLAND CRYSTAL (WIN)

TRALEE GIRL (E/W)

17:15 SOUTHWELL

Time Loop won 2 days ago and is likely to be involved here if allowed to take her chance but I'd say that would be unlikely. Without Time Loop that should leave the door open for a match between My Fermoy and Nicator, My Fermoy has been placed on three out of four starts but is looking exposed and that makes him vulnerable to Nicator who stayed on at Doncaster on debut after showing greeness, will be sharper this time.

NICATOR (WIN)
