Liam Hall previews three races this Friday to hopefully earn some profit.

13:00 AYR

Locqirec holds solid French form for his UK debut, possibly will want a stiffer test in time. Like Minded put in a smart performance to finish fourth over course and distance on Racecourse debut, that should stand him in good stead to get much closer today. Wilstar holds good bumper form, was very disappointing when sent off favourite on hurdling debut but after weakening very quickly the yard has opted to give him a wind operation and have applied a tongue tie, will be hard to beat if the operation has worked.

14:00 AYR

Don Ochetti bolted up on his final start for Dan Skelton but something has been clearly amiss with having to have 499 days off the track, likely to improve for the run but this yard have done well with recruits out of the Skeltons. Big Storm Brewing put in a much improved performance last time when finishing second, that performance here would see him go very close. Carrhill looked a tricky ride at Newcastle on handicap debut, should be suited by the drop in trip and the visor being reached for could eke out some performance, place chance if putting everything together this time.

Milcree bolted up on its final start in novice hurdles before being found out on better ground, fences will suit but a monster layoff to overcome and will be better suited once going over 3mile plus. Junker d'Allier was collared close home last time, will win races going forward but the step up in trip raises questions. Young Jack ran very well on chasing debut when staying on strongly to finish a narrow second, the drop back in trip is a worry as he looked like the further he went the better that day, has won over this trip in 2024 so shouldn't be far away but Cloonaira ticks alot of boxes returned back to this trip after looking out of her depth over 2 miles at Cheltenham.
