TODAYS TIPS (FRIDAY)

Liam Hall previews his best bets of the day this Friday as he heads to Southwell and Naas for his selections.

13:38 SOUTHWELL

Cool customer has finished runner-up on both starts to date, looks sure to be competitive again but looks vulnerable for win purposes. Elderflower Tonic showed a pleasing attitude when winning at the second attempt in Irish Points, makes her rules debut here and is capable of getting involved, but this sharp track might not play to its strengths regarding stamina. Last Man Standing and Credit Union both represent Rebecca Menzies here, Last Man Standing only weakened close home to finish third on his second start to date at Newcastle, in which stablemate Credit Union weakened badly two out on debut to finish well beaten off. Both should find this sharper track better suited to them in which Last Man Standing should be taking this prize, with Credit Union showing improvement to take a place.

LAST MAN STANDING (WIN)

CREDIT UNION (E/W)

13:43 NAAS

This Grade 1 contest could be seen as the most competitive Novice Hurdle seen so far this season. The likely favourite Saint Baco has been getting well supported in the market of late for the Cheltenham Festival, his maiden hurdle win in a large field was very impressive but his form in France was underwhelming. The in-form Gordon Elliot team sends out three who all have good chances but the selection here is I'll Sort That, this 6 year old has already landed a Graded contest and he looks sure to be involved close home and therefore looks a solid each-way play.

I'LL SORT THAT (E/W)
