TODAYS TIPS (FRIDAY)

Liam Hall previews three races this Friday with selections from Wetherby, Newcastle and Dundalk. 17:22 WETHERBY

A Sight To Sea is likely to go off short here after blowing the field apart in an Irish Point, the form of the race has shown holes but with Harry Skelton riding first time up in a bumper the signs are good and the pedigree suggests this lad won't be short of speed. Noble Way was third on debut and likely to be well supported but he didn't look like a true stayer that day and might prefer a sharper track than Wetherby to aid his chances. Matador St George's has plenty of French winners in the pedigree for a yard having a great season but the newcomer Cape Warrior might just have a bit more flat speed being by Ulysees but with jump winners in the pedigree this could be ideally suited to bumpers for a yard who get winners in this discipline.

18:00 NEWCASTLE

Yorkshire Glory who wrapped up victory in the Arc All Weather Bonus last time out now pushes to pick up extra prize money for being the top horse in March and shouldn't be far away again. Pit Boss is another fighting for the prize in March and looks to follow up his success 6 days ago. Water Of Leith was very impressive last time out but no Billy Loughnane to aid his chances this time and the race looked to get set up for him with fast fractions. Cayman Tai has been relatively on the downgrade compared to the above three but Sean Levey has often got the best out of him and looks an each way play here.

18:45 DUNDALK

Mephisto has Colin Keane back in the saddle after this lads been jumping, first start on the flat for some time so may be a bit rusty. Deluca Chop has been pretty consistent but just doesn't give you the feeling he's set to win yet, might need some help from the handicapper. Numidia disappointed last time on his return back to two mile but is given a second chance here and this C&D winner should get back on track.
