TODAYS TIPS (FRIDAY)

/Former jockey and now Racing Daily pundit Liam Hall pinpoints three runners not to ignore to round off the working week. 15:00 SANDOWN

Field Of Gold promised the world but ultimately finished the season off disappointingly. Will be looking to get back on track here. Never So Brave has looked quite brilliant over 7f but found a mile in Group 1 company too much. Down in grade but this looks a Group 1 on paper just not in name. Zeus Olympios remains unbeaten and looks very talented, tough ask to step up to this level on his return. Opera Ballo benefits of having a run in 2026 although that was three months ago, looks on the improve and is a danger. Dancing Gemini won this race last season but came here with a run under his belt and in much better form, the third that day Ciceros Gift improved all season and beat three of the field today in a Group 1 on Champions Day, looks set to go off a huge price but could be a big player.

CICEROS GIFT (E/W)

15:47 PERTH

Go Dante failed to come back to form in the Imperial Cup which could be a sign that he's finally on the downgrade after a stellar career. The Dog Thief is hard to assess after just two runs but the mark is potentially harsh and he'll have to take another step forward to move past it. Serious Operator was a non runner at the Scottish National meeting, a disappointing run at Kelso before that but his form until then was smart, could bounce back

SERIOUS OPERATOR (E/W)

17:05 CORK

Tashakour took a big step forward on his return to finish second, that's the best form shown so far but there are a few who could potentially improve again like Oust, Oust ran once last season and just weakened late on, should of strengthened up enough to take a big step forward however Nil Bua Gan Dua was highly tried last season and failed to win, this drop in class should see him get off the mark at the fourth time of asking.
