TODAYS TIPS (FRIDAY)

Sam King is bang in form after a very profitable Glorious Goodwood, he returns with his best bets of the day this Friday. 15:20 MUSSELBURGH

A competitive seven-furlong handicap, which could go the way of the Far Above Dream. Trained by the in-form James Owen, this unexposed three-year-old made a taking stable debut when scoring at Bath earlier in the season before finding Class 2 company at York too taxing next time out. However, back in calmer waters, he bounced back with a pleasing third-place finish at Epsom last time. It's easy to upgrade that performance given he made up plenty of ground from the back of the field before making his challenge, while it's also interesting that James Owen's sole other runner at this venue so far this year obliged. He looks poised to strike for the Newmarket-based handler, with Yaaser perhaps the biggest danger for James Owen.

FAR ABOVE DREAM (WIN)

15:40 THIRSK

King's Crown arrives in top form having won two of his last three starts. A comfortable scorer over course and distance earlier in the year, he returned to winning ways from a good second at Doncaster with a snug success at the same track last month. Apprentice Rhys Elliott, who gets on well with this horse, is good value for his 5lb claim and given the manner of his latest victory, he could well prove capable of following up off just 4lb higher. The main danger may come from fellow course and distance winner Glory Fighter, who runs off the same rating as when second at Nottingham last time out.
