Alan Morris picks out three horses this Thursday as he aims to bash the bookies. 14:35 CHELMSFORD
The draw in this 5f sprint has not been kind to some of the fancied horses of Startling, Maris Angel and Cabeza De Llave regardless of their preferred tactics and the favourite Maris Angel could be vulnerable late on if managing to lead from stall 9 on first appearance here. Dubai Magic returned to form here recently and should be feared but Dark Side Prince is taken to make it six C and D wins. The 8yo is no back number with placed form recently over 5f and not quite lasting out over 6f at Wolverhampton after a break.

Dutch Finale understandably was ridden conservatively from a poor draw at Lingfield on debut for Stuart Williams after a break and ran on well. It looks significant that he has been reunited with Pat Cosgrave here and can continue his progression.
DUTCH FINALE (E/W)
16:43 DONCASTER
Pacifica Pier sets a puzzle here, undoubtedly lucky to beat Publish leading late on at Sandown, he then disappointed when front-running under a penalty at Newmarket. His proximity to Publish needs to be taken with a pinch of salt and there’s little other supporting collateral form or strong time performances to verify his ability but could easily return to form. Mcmurray is currently trading at an each-way ‘shot to nothing’ price and looks to be able to exploit his handicap mark whilst on an upward curve following a staying on win over 7f at Ffos Las and the mile should suit here.
