The rain forecast overnight and prior to racing should help a few of these and Olivia Kate’s connections will be hoping it gets into the ground. The 6yo mare looks primed for this after a respectable 2m pipe-opener and should be more at home over the 2m 5f as a course and distance winner. Hopefully we can keep the eight in to be an each-way ‘bet to nothing’! Briery Butterfly looks to be finding her feet after a much better performance in a handicap in April and could progress beyond this class and is respected.

An open handicap with some bookmakers paying four places and Lesley’s Boy looks a big price to improve on a respectable Course and Distance 4th with Oisin Orr taking over and a better draw this time.

Hoodie Hoo looks to have a difficult draw to contend with and the same could be said for Nazuki but Jamie Spencer may be able to navigate this lightly-raced double Course and Distance winner home after a strong performance over 7f in August at Doncaster.
