15:30 LEICESTER

An open handicap and none of the bare eight have hot recent form. Solanna is expected to step up on his remote placed form in novices, quickly switched to handicaps after a solid flat career. Olivia Kate looked primed to run well over further for us last time but a propensity to jump left meant she lost her position before staying on, then bailing out left and falling. She has won right-handed but will need a strong pace to be effective here back at the minimum. Harriet Dickin runs two and a chance is taken on the outsider in Hawk Stone in first-time blinkers under a likely attacking Sam Twiston-Davies ride who is 2-3 for the yard in recent years.

HAWK STONE (E/W)

16:30 CHELMSFORD

Beach Partee travelled well nine days ago to beat Solar Invincible and Filly Foden at Lingfield and is equally well-drawn here with a course and distance win in the locker as well. More of a threat may come from Mad Unicorn and Sunlit Sea dropped in trip but Beach Partee can win again under a penalty and looks good each-way value in early markets.
