Wise Eagle looks sure to be supported in from early each-way prices as I’m sure I’m not the only ‘brainbox’ waiting for the high-class flat stayer to go up in distance over hurdles and prove there is plenty of scope to widen the gap between his flat and jumps marks. That said he doesn’t seem to be quite as good as he was over the flat and there are some younger rivals progressing well themselves. Moonbow can run well and Chanonry Point is interesting, though this is a big step-up in trip and class from a maiden hurdle win and against some seasoned campaigners. These look ideal circumstances for Wise Eagle who has won four times on the flat here and a recent flat run should leave him ready to soar.

A modest race bur Fircombe Hall and Koroor go well here in this grade and they can be competitive against some  moderate rivals. Laurens Dream has been showing signs she is ready to strike from her lowest mark and reunited with Billy Garrity who has won over course and distance on her she can start her 4yo campaign with a win.
