Saracen Beau will be popular here as a lightly-raced horse back at Nicky Richards and over hurdles  but with a slight question mark over the ground and this is an open handicap with a few other improvers such as One Mill Harbour, Diamond Geezer and Rock Dj. At much larger odds another chance is given to Coconut Splash down in trip in first-time cheekpieces after an improved showing for most of the 3m trip.

Poke The Bear will need a good pace to aim at and a little luck but has struck up a good relationship with Tyler Heard and did well to win back down to 7f last time. In an average race he can go in again under a penalty over the more favourable mile trip as the 4yo looks to be progressing beyond this grade.

Celtic John is also coming to hand belatedly and got up in the last strides in a classified stakes but can be competitive in handicaps.
