Thank You Blue is out again under a penalty, but his regular pilot cannot claim and there is a drop in trip and a new track away from Sedgefield to contend with. Olivia Kate jumps left, but still occasionally runs well here if I don’t tip her! Raging Al looks to be well-handicapped on his flat form and this course may play to his strengths if he can lay up without being too keen.

An open handicap with recent serial winner Devon Skies up in class and the handicap after a productive spell. It can be hard to get a grip on what four-year-olds have achieved in uncompetitive juvenile hurdles and this will tell us more about Laysoft’s ability. La Marquise sneaks into this 0-110, being allowed in under 112 and this drop in class can pay off. The 6yo mare had some good form last year and ran well enough on seasonal debut over further. She has had wind surgery and a break since a subsequent disappointment. Under more patient tactics, she can frank Jamie Snowden's good track record.
