Schrodingers Cat is rated 78, with a rating like that you'd expect this Colt to be a certainty, the fact he's 0 from 6 and been second three times including going down a nose last time makes him a risky selection especially considering his likely short odds. The rest of the field looks exposed with Star Noir looking capable of hitting the frame again here but hasn't shown enough to suggest he's capable of beating the favourite even with the 4lb swing. The selection will be an each way one here, I'm Dan Dare ran very green on debut over 6 furlongs, this drop back to 5 furlongs looks perfect with the dam being a very smart filly over this trip.

On paper this contest looks a three horse race, Proud To Be Fox who has put up two decent performances so far but looks to be crying out for a step up in trip, sticking at this trip around Wolverhampton could see things happen far too quickly for him. Shamacid looks to be crying out for a drop down to 5 furlongs after twice tiring inside the final furlong, will find the 6f around Wolverhampton slightly easier to get and will make a bold bid for it turning for home. Grey Jaguar bumped into one last time but that form should be strong enough here to take all the beating if he can run to that level of form once again.
