Liam Hall previews Tuesday's action as he assesses two races from both the UK and Ireland to pinpoint his best bets. 14:20 LISTOWEL
Just A City Boy was never positioned well enough on debut to land any telling blow, has since been gelded and the step up in trip could find some improvement and I thought he should be able to run into a place, that said he looks the second string on jockey bookings with the team running Perisher here, he's got strong form in the book but didn't look at all straightforward last time and they've reverted to cheek pieces, his attitude makes him look opposable. The two Ballydoyle runners King Of Sparta and Straight Up are both bred very well as you'd expect, both look capable of being involved but with the run under the belt for King Of Sparta, the experience could show up here.
KING OF SPARTA (WIN)
STRAIGHT UP (E/W)

A fairly exposed field line up here apart from two of them, Ironwill kept on well to win at Brighton over 6furlongs last time, that was on Good to Firm and there will be question marks about carrying a penalty on softer ground over a shorter trip. Kody B took a huge step forward from debut to finish second at Chester over 6furlongs, this drop in trip on a stiffer track shouldn't be an issue and with the weight difference could get his head infront here. I'm Dan Dare is better than shown so far and could be one to take not of once handicapping.
