With a 35% strike rate over the last fortnight, there are few trainers in better form than Nicky Henderson at present and it will be disappointing if this talented mare can’t find the scoresheet. She likely found conditions a touch on the quick side when nutted on the line at Huntingdon last time but it remained a good effort and she ought to prefer this more testing surface. Group 1-placed on the level in France, she clearly has plenty of ability, while the form of her Punchestown second last May couldn’t read much better with the winner going on to find only Lossiemouth and Brighterdaysahead too good in Grade 1 company since. She can make amends for her recent reversal.

Forglen looks to hold obvious claims in the one-mile six furlong handicap at Wolverhampton. Trained by William Stone and ridden by Oisin McSweeny, who has been operating at an 18% strike rate for the last two weeks and will prove a valuable asset in this restricted riders race, Forglen arrives in excellent heart having backed up a narrow Lingfield success with a good second behind a bang in form rival at Southwell. The form of his Lingfield win took a boost when the third home returned to winning ways since and he looks well-poised to do the same here, Belle Of Kt also interesting at the current prices.
