Kalhandrion took his record to two from five over fences with a commanding success at Exeter last time and he looks to have been leniently assessed by the handicapper. Richard Hobson's charge made all to strike recently and a 4lb rise in the handicap appears more than manageable. The first-time cheekpieces worn that day are retained and with an easy lead possible, he might prove tough to peg back. Fellow last-start winner The Grey Man looks the obvious danger in a contest lacking any real depth.

Eight-start maiden Faithful Dream should be winning soon. He looked a touch unlucky when going down by a nose at Kempton last time and with a clearer passage through, he might well have got his head in front. A 2lb nudge up the weights shouldn't prevent another bold bid, while the booking of Rossa Ryan has to be a major plus, as well as he kind draw in stall two. Furthermore, he remains unexposed over the six furlongs and he's preffered to the generally consistent Mademoiselle Belle.
