TODAYS TIPS (TUESDAY)

Sam King looks to the action from Bath and Lingfield as he aims to land the spoils this Tuesday.

14:50 BATH

Candy Warhol remains without a win on turf but his turn surely isn't far away following a string of good efforts. He didn't quite get home over the six furlongs when third at Windsor just five days ago and it's no shock to see connections drop in trip here, while the application of first-time blinkers, which replace cheekpieces, could eke out a little bit of improvement. There doesn't look to be much pace on paper and this confirmed front runner might take some pegging back, with The Feminine Urge, whose mark is steadily falling, perhaps emerging as the main danger.

CANDY WARHOL (WIN)

18:20 LINGFIELD

The Andrew Balding team have been operating at a healthy 22% strike rate for the last fortnight and there's reason to believe Bright Summer could enhance that here. A daughter of Dark Angel, she posted a highly encouraging debut effort when fourth behind a well-touted rival of Ed Walkers at Newbury, shaping as though she would have learnt plenty from the experience. The form has worked out nicely with the runner-up and fifth-placed horse winning next time out, while the third has also ran another solid race in a warm Ascot event. She should improve plenty and is preferred to the more experienced 87-rated Eskimo Pie.
