Three-time course and distance winner Zarzyni will likely prove a popular choice arriving here on the back of a win on the all-weather at Southwell last week, however the 4lbs penalty he carries will make things tougher and his turf form has been largely inconsistent so far this season so he’s not one to have the utmost of faith in. 

Jim Goldie runs four with the in-form Arnhem looking his most likely challenger having won over this trip at Haydock at the beginning of the month before another solid run when beaten a nose at Doncaster last time out, yet at a likely each way price preference is for Ziggy’s Triton who was a course and distance winner on penultimate turf run, ran well for second in first time cheekpieces (which are retained for todays’ race) on the AW on Monday and sees the return of Danny Tudhope in the saddle here.
