Our man Rory turns his attention to races away from the ITV cameras this Saturday as he pinpoints a trio of horses from The Curragh and Newmarket that catches his eye. 14:00 CURRAGH

Heavenly Power is a former course victor who's slowly improving this year. He might have a fair amount of weight to carry but his consistency in big field handicaps cannot be ignored. Not a sure fire winner but should be able to pick up some prize money for a yard who've got a history of doing well in races of this nature.

Top-weight Big Gossey has been competing in group races and a return to handicapping should see him go close once again.

Of the remainder Bodhi Bear can do far better than he showed at Ascot and the English raider Canon's House cannot be ignored after racking up three wins in a row.

Ryan Moore is likely to find a winner or two on the card and one of his strongest rides of the day is one in which he doesn't team up with trainer Aidan O'Brien. Mgheera has won both of her starts this year and was unfortunate to miss Royal Ascot however, that could turn out to be a blessing in disguise. This looks a less competitive field than when she won at Haydock, and seems the clear and obvious selection.

Former course and distance winner Arizona Blaze looks the best chance of an Irish victory and Grande Marques might be worth a few pennies for each way punters looking for one at a big price.

MGHEERA (WIN)

17:30 NEWMARKET

The two course and distance winners in the lineup look head and shoulders above the rest but it's hard not to side with recent winner Leadman who took home a decent race here last time out. He might have 4lbs more weight to carry but he's been dropped in grade and there's not much to suggest anything will stop him from claiming consecutive wins.

Waiting All Night looks the most likely to follow him home with three-year-olds Spirit Of Farhh and Mythical Composer the best of the rest.
