FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

19:00 DUNDALK

In what looks a very open one-mile contest Final Voyage could go well at a decent price. The seven-year-old gelding won this race last year and despite a slight rise in weight could realistically claim this race once again.

Fellow course and distance winners and Stephen Thorne trained duo Hightimeyouwon and Perfect Judgement look a serious threat as does top-weight I Am Superman.

19:15 SOUTHWELL

Clyde Bay went off as the race favourite when making his stable debut last time out. Despite not settling throughout the race he still finished a respectable third and if he's able to remain calmer this time around is capable of finishing even closer.

The consistent Portoro has produced four solid performances in his last four starts and it wouldn't come as a surprise if he were to claim another course and distance success.

19:30 DUNDALK

Signor Ferrari aims to make it three wins in a row but this looks a tougher test, especially with more weight to carry. One for any shortlist but may find one or two too good this time around.

Fellow last time out winner Ranko Express can build upon their latest victory and looks the biggest danger to the selection.

The one worth siding with is five-year-old Doctor Grace who's been pretty consistent in her last three starts. Although she's not won on the artificial surface for a while if a change in yards sparks improvement this could be the day she returns to winning ways.
