SUNDAY SELECTIONS

Kieran McHugh previews the best of Sunday’s action as he picks out his best bets of the day.

15:13 STRATFORD

Finest View is chasing his fourth victory in a row and he is still being fairly treated by the handicapper. He’s in with a good chance but he will be hoping that the rain stays away. The ever-commendable Glory And Honour is back over fences, and he won’t be deterred by any cut in the ground. He’s not out of it. Malystic may not have visited the winner’s enclosure in a while but the veteran thrives in these sorts of races and is another that won’t be worried about the rain. Today could be his return to the top spot.

MALYSTIC (WIN)

16:42 NEWTON ABBOT

Spitalfield has had to settle for the runners-up spot on his last two starts, the latest over course and distance. That’s not bad form and Ben Macey’s claim helps his case. Impecunious may have only won once but his breeding suggests he might enjoy the step up. Dear Ralphy was bang there until the last furlong, over course and distance, and has won over this distance. He had been going well before his last race and if he can get back on those terms, he could land that elusive win.

DEAR RALPHY (WIN)
