Far Too Fizzy did Racing-Daily.com followers a favour on Thursday being backed in from 13-2 to 10-3 for a comfortable victory off a lowly mark of 51 on handicap debut. A pleasing debut had been followed by 2 7f defeats but the son of the admirable multiple all-weather winner Fizzy Feet looked more at home here over 6f and could run up a sequence this Winter. He can’t be punished too hard by the handicapper for a race that may turn out better than first looked on paper and could throw up extra winners.

CAWTHORNE CRACKER (O GREENALL & J GUERRIERO)

Cawthorne Cracker looks ready to strike soon after a promising start to the season and may be ready for a step back up in trip as his full brother Cowboy Cooper has won over 3m. The 6yo gelding looked to be going well in a 2m 4f chase two runs ago before falling three out and had a confidence-boosting run back over 2m 1f and hurdles this week when ridden in rear for a change at Newcastle. With a mark of 85 this triple winner has scope over hurdles and fences and his shrewd yard should place him to win soon. CURRENT HOTLIST:
