Alan Morris adds to the Racing Daily Hotlist as he looks at two recent runners you need to add to your trackers. LINDORO (S HANLON)

4yo gelding Lindoro’s unplaced reappearance in a fair maiden at Newcastle this week was only his third run and a first for Stephen Hanlon, after two promising outings for Ann Duffield last summer. He led and battled on til very late in a reasonable maiden over 7f at Redcar at 3 to confirm with the right mark there is potential to develop over 6/7f at good odds for his unheralded trainer. Slot also ran ok in the Newcastle maiden and though he may not be as good as his overrated dam Klopp he may find a weak race at the right level now handicapped.

MY MATE KEV (C DWYER)

My Mate Kev showed more of his customary dash over 6f at Yarmouth this week on his second run back and may drop a little further still from his reduced mark, following some 7f and back-end defeats. He may have held on longer from the front if he hadn’t ran into one but only gave way late on and his finishing position of 5th of 6 hides a four-way bunch for second behind the clear winner. A straight 6f where he can dictate like Yarmouth suits him well and we may well be able to forgive some competitive battles upfront. He does seem to be routinely well-supported so early prices may be best taken.
