Yellow Card went in to the notebook on Thursday 15th May following a further step up in trip to 1m4f, travelling comfortably and winning under a 6lb penalty, beating a previous winner. The 3yo Masar gelding still has handicapping scope and looks as if he could stay 1m6f at least. Yellow Card looks capable of running up a sequence given the number of likely small-field middle-distance handicaps that exist over the Summer for his improving yard, which have already reached half of last year’s winner tally.

WOOHOO (J Goldie)

Woohoo won well over 5f off only 49 at Hamilton this week under hands and heels riding for her young rider, travelling well throughout and looks to have found her feet in the UK from a lowly handicap mark. She should be able to stay the 6f at Ayr if turned out quickly this week but is one to keep an eye on in low-level sprints this Summer regardless if successful under a penalty. CURRENT HOTLIST:
