THE IRISH INSIDER

Toby Darby picks out his best bets from Tipperary this Sunday.

15:30 TIPPERARY

Bravais has had the beating of Hurricane Ivor a couple of times this season, including a 3/4 length defeat over C&D. However, Hurricane Ivor is now 4lb better off and is likely to dictate matters off the front end, whoever is going to win, will have to pass Hurricane Ivor. Mississippi River, has started favourite in 7 of his 8 races this year, only winning twice, but never far away. This is a drop back in trip and I’m not sure that’s what he’s looking for.

HURRICANE IVOR (WIN)

16:00 TIPPERARY

A filly’s and mares group 3 is the feature race this Sunday, Princess Child will be looking to add to her first win LTO at Galway but she only just prevailed that day off of 91, if rather oppose her at the prices. Last seen finishing down the field in the French Guineas, Celestial Orbit will have to leave that behind her, but her 2nd in the Nell Gwynn prior looks good on paper in this event. I’m surprise Ger has lined up Mallavelly here with her handicap mark still looking attractive, she has been thrown in at the deep end but she has improved the last twice including over C&D so could run a big race at a big price.

CELESTIAL ONE (WIN)
