Dean Kilbryde pinpoints two runners worth following to end the working week with selections from Haydock and Worcester. 15:47 HAYDOCK
Creative Queen posted her sole career success on soft ground at Yarmouth and arrives in excellent form having been narrowly denied when last seen, finishing second to a fast-finishing, similarly in-form rival. With ground and trip to suit I’m hoping the Willliam Haggas’ trained three-year-old can give the stable a winner from their only runner on the card.
Lipsink is now nine but isn’t showing any signs of age just yet, returning this year with two second-placed finishes from three runs, the latest when beaten just a short-head at Sandown last week. He doesn’t win too many on turf but does have soft ground form and is due to go up 2lbs shortly so should give another good account, with Spoof also noted especially if the ground turns heavy.
CREATIVE QUEEN (WIN)
18:36 WORCESTER
Tilehurst is a prior course and distance winner having won here with a bit up his sleeve last time out, the first-time cheek-pieces seemingly doing the trick. The runner up won next time out so the form looks decent and with Sean Bowen keeping the ride I’m expecting another bold show today.
Emerald Time is another proven at the track having won here in June and arrives in good form having won at Uttoxeter last time out. He’s gone up 4lbs but talented jockey Toby McCain-Mitchell claims three and he rates the main danger.
Fergal O’Brien runs two - Sun Art and Call Me Tara – however both may just need this on their respective returns.
