Dreambird Dolly has come close on her last two starts and has made the frame in four from six over track and trip, however an overall profile of just one win from over twenty runs suggests she’s hard to win with and remains 6lbs above her sole winning mark so may prove vulnerable for win purposes.

Diomed Spirit came second to a well-handicapped rival at Windsor when last seen but has done all his winning on the AW so preference is for Washington Heir who won here at Brighton on penultimate run and ran well for third when tried over six furlongs last time out. He holds the same rating yet carries 5lbs less today and has a great chance for a trainer who has won this race three times since 2016.

Dragon God (1^st) beat Mart (3^rd) by just over a length when they met at Yarmouth on Sunday however the winner now carries a 5lbs penalty. It was an encouraging run from the latter on his first run for trainer Des Donovan and there is plenty of scope to improve given he’s won off marks in the 70’s in the past, including a course and distance victory off 75 less than two years ago.

Bated Breeze took advantage of a career-low mark when winning over track and trip last month, his first career success in twenty-one attempts, and while a 3lbs rise doesn’t look excessive he doesn’t look a cert to follow up.
