Heavy rain was forecast on Wednesday with some more on raceday so it will be interesting to see how much is received. Recobella looks flexible regarding the ground and ran well last time out, this trip looks within range and the jockey booking, allied to a drop in grade should see the 5yo mare home in front. A few of the others are unproven over the trip or out of form and a strong each-way chance could be made for last year's winner Sugarpiehoneybunch. The 8yo mare ran better than first appears first time out, running on well, teeing her up for a repeat here under regular rider Aiden Brookes.

Belle Amie could be above this grade and despite having no form on soft she is a half-sister to the talented Caius Chorister who enjoyed conditions. An each-way chance is taken on outsider Adrian who has form on soft and at Ffos Las, he can cone on fir his all-weather reappearance.
