TODAY'S TIPS (TUESDAY)

Sam King finds two runners worth following this Tuesday with selections from Warwick and Wolverhampton. 13:53 WARWICK Plan C has a bit to find based on flat ratings with those ahead of him in the market but there’s every chance he could make up into a nice performer over hurdles. Alan King does well in this sphere and it’s always promising to see him introduce one to hurdles at his local track Warwick. He should be well schooled at home and at the current prices, he looks like the value play. PLAN C (WIN)

17:00 WOLVERHAMPTON

Oppenheimer failed to score in nine starts in Ireland but wasted little time in getting off the mark for new connections when successful on his stable debut for James Owen. The Newmarket-based handler is renowned for improving his new recruits and with further progress on the cards, his latest contender looks well-poised to defy a 6lb higher mark. Previous course and distance winner Barry The Worm, who has been in good form of late, could prove the main danger.

OPPENHEIMER (WIN)
