TODAY'S TIPS (WEDNESDAY)

Liam Hall previews the best of Wednesday's action as he pinpoints a handful of runners not to ignore. 14:45 BEVERLEY

High On Honey is the one that makes most appeal here. The daughter of Palace Pier should appreciate Beverley’s stiff finish, while the yard has enjoyed a good season with its two-year-olds. She may show signs of greenness on debut, but there is enough to like about her profile to suggest she can hit the frame.

Coco Nova is another to consider, particularly with the in-form Oisin Orr booked for the ride. She would not need to find a great deal of improvement to get involved and is one worth keeping an eye on in the betting.

14:52 GOWRAN PARK

A competitive maiden in which a case can be made for several of these.

Just One Show caught the eye when finishing second on debut and did little wrong when fifth on his latest outing. That experience should stand him in good stead and he looks capable of playing a leading role.

At a bigger price, Feel The Sting could also make the frame. The trainer-and-jockey combination has a good record with newcomers, while this son of Saxon Warrior is bred to possess plenty of ability. He makes enough appeal to warrant an each-way interest.

FEEL THE STING (E/W)

16:00 SALISBURY

Bold Shout brings the strongest form into the race following consecutive fourth-place finishes. He has been gelded since his latest appearance and that could help eke out some further improvement.

Annie Sioux, however, makes greater appeal on pedigree. Tom Marquand is booked for her racecourse debut and, drawn in stall one, she is an interesting newcomer who could be ready to make an immediate impact.
